Milwaukee PH-51 waterproof pH meter with replaceable electrode and manual calibration
Model: PH-51
Manufactured in Europe
The Milwaukee PH-51 is a handy, waterproof pH meter designed for precise measurement in a variety of conditions, including more demanding ones such as agriculture and wastewater treatment plants. With its rugged housing, interchangeable electrode with double connector, and manual two-point calibration, the unit provides reliable and accurate measurements.
The modular design makes it easy to replace the electrode and batteries yourself, and the lack of an automatic calibration function allows for a significant increase in operating time - up to 1,500 hours on a single set of batteries.
Maintaining the correct pH in the nutrient solution is crucial for proper nutrient uptake by plants. To correct the pH value, special preparations of the pH- (lowering) or pH+ (raising) type are used, but it is not recommended to use them at the same time - if the pH drops too much, it is best to prepare a new medium.
Milwaukee meters are valued for their durability, ease of use and quick operation.

User manual:
First startup:
Remove the electrode cover and immerse it in the MA9015 storage solution for 2 hours to activate the probe.
Calibration:
For acidic range (below pH 7):
Dip the electrode in pH 7.01 buffer.
After stabilizing the reading, set the value to 7.0 using the "7" trimmer.
Rinse the probe, immerse it in pH 4.01 buffer.
Set the value to 4.0 using trimmer "4".
For alkaline range (above pH 7):
Calibrate only on pH 7.01 buffer.
After stabilizing the reading, set the value to 7.0.
Rinse the probe - calibration complete.
Measurement:
Remove the electrode cover.
Turn on the device (ON button).
Dip the probe into the sample.
Gently stir and wait for a stable reading.
Rinse the electrode with water after measurement and store in MA9015 solution or pH 7.0 buffer.
Note: Do not store the electrode in distilled or deionized water.
Electrode replacement:
Remove the cover.
Unscrew the electrode retaining ring.
Replace the MA73600 electrode, matching the color pin to the display side.
Make sure the seals are properly seated before installation.
Battery replacement:
Unscrew the battery compartment cover.
Replace the three 1.5V batteries, maintaining the correct polarity.
Check the gasket and close the cover.
Important:
To preserve the warranty and the performance of the electrode, do not let it dry out - always store it in KCL liquid (e.g. Growth Technology KCL).
