Smith by Grow The Jungle is an LED lamp for accelerating plant growth, maintaining mother plants and plant clones. It improves the performance of the plant in the vegetative or flowering stage, reducing heat and improving yield, in addition to the growth rate. Smith was developed by Grow The Jungle as a supplemental light for the growth phase of mother plants, seedlings and clones.

The main advantage of using a cool spectral type of light is shortened internode space, as well as lower lateral branching, making plants better prepared for abundant flowering in SOG gardens.

Another advantage of using this type of LED light for plant vegetation is energy savings (consumption is notoriously lower than with HPS lights), which generate much less heat.

The Smith can be used as an additional light during the vegetative phase, during the flowering phase or even during both growth phases. This LED lamp helps improve yields, especially when the growing area is not regular (when it is not square, so the lamp cannot cover the entire area and needs additional metal light).

Smith has a compact size of 30 cm x 30 cm, which makes it ideal for indoor use to cover crops up to 60×60 cm. The illuminated area will vary depending on the intensity required (the closer to the light the more intense, the farthest the lower).

For example, if we are going to use it for clones in the rooting process, one handle of The Smith is enough to cover an area of 80×80 cm, but if you use it with a mother plant to produce as many clones as possible, the area of intense coverage is 50×50 cm.

One of the advantages of the Smith modular system is that you can increase the number of fixtures as your needs increase, up to a maximum of 4 lamps per square meter, to get the maximum light intensity for that area.

This LED fixture is very efficient and produces large amounts of light, so it is recommended to keep a minimum distance between the light and the plants to avoid burning the leaves. As a grower, you need to adjust the distance to the plants based on two criteria: the light output and the function you want to use.

If you will be using The Smith 150w in your Growbox, you should keep a minimum distance of 25 cm between the LED fixture and the plants (regardless of whether you are growing mother plants here or cuttings).

If you are using The Smith led panel for cloning plants, you only need to keep a distance of 50 cm between the LED panel and the cuttings. This longer distance is justified because clones do not specify the intensity of the rooting process.
