Cultivation of cannabis other than industrial hemp is prohibited in Poland. Industrial hemp cultivation requires proper authorization.

Choosing the right grow light is the second most important step after selecting the grow tent. The light directly determines yield, quality, terpene profile and flower density.

Modern grow setups use LED, HPS, MH, CFL and CMH — LED is the best and most efficient option today. The best LED fixtures use Samsung 281B or Samsung 301H EVO diodes.

Recommended brands:

LUMATEK – premium, longer warranty, higher aesthetics, 3–4× higher price.

HPS is only useful if you need additional heat.

RECOMMENDED POWER PER TENT SIZE

40×40 cm → 45–100 W
60×60 cm → 100–240 W
80×80 cm → 150–320 W
100×100 cm → 300–480 W
120×120 cm → 320–600 W
150×150 cm → 600 W+

Multiple smaller lights are better than one oversized unit in big tents.

MH, CMH and CFL are outdated, inefficient and not recommended.
