Lumatek 30W UV LED Light Strip is an extra light spectrum for growers who want to improve the quality of their crops by incorporating UV light during the flowering phase. Designed to fit directly into the popular Lumatek Zeus LED fixtures, this unit has an integrated power supply and can also be connected in series.

Create a complete fruit or premium flower by using ultraviolet signaling in your crop. This technology is a powerful tool for growers who are interested in creating a unique final crop, affecting its flavor, aroma and increasing the main substance for extraction by up to 30%. It will also help control mold formation with mild UV-B doses and reduce the need for chemical interventions through UV-A.

This unique fixture is specifically designed to deliver ideal UV-B [280-315 nm] and UV-A [315-400 nm] doses to plants based on scientific support. A single luminaire can deliver 2.2 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-B energy and 518 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-A radiation. This translates into a device output power of 100 mW UV-B and 12,000 mW UVA. Lumatek ensures that this luminaire does not emit UV-C radiation. Integrate this technology with Lumatek Zeus LED Range fixtures and follow the guidelines for our Grow Light strategies.

The Daisy Chain cable will allow you to easily connect several fixtures. To ensure the efficiency of the device, this LED strip has one input and output socket for power cable or daisy chain cable , depending on the application of this strip. For this reason, power cables (4m) and Daisy Chain cables (1.5m) are sold separately.

Recommended application of UV-B + UV-A radiation
Always mix supplemental UVB + UVA radiation with the previously mentioned Lumatek Zeus Full Spectrum LED range, starting with a 12-hour photoperiod to less during the flowering phase, at least 4 weeks before harvest.

To ensure good UV spread, install the recommended minimum units and follow the distance to the canopy mentioned in the light growth strategy table.

If you notice damage to the plants, we recommend increasing the distance between the fi xture and the canopy or reducing the amount of UV light delivered to the plants by reducing the photoperiodic time.

Precautions for the LUMATEK 30W UV supplemental LED strip

The LUMATEK 30W UV Supplemental LED Bar is a fixture that delivers a spectrum of UVB (near UV erythemal) and UVA (near UV-black light) electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 280 to 400 nm.

In order to avoid any biological effects on the physical human body, it is necessary to turn off the power supply during the installation and/or maintenance processes of the cultivation system.

If it is not possible to turn off the UV strips, all exposed skin should be covered with opaque material, including the face, neck, head, hands and injuries. Other parts of the body are assumed to be covered when wearing appropriate laboratory attire. For example, long pants, covered fingers, gloves, long-sleeved lab coats and safety glasses.

Do not look directly at the light, because UVB radiation from the light fixture can damage the eyes and skin.

Do not restrict airflow through the equipment to avoid heat buildup, which can drastically shorten the life of additional UV LED strips.

Do not contact the auxiliary UV LED strip with any surface when it is on.

Use only on plants.
