Aeros is a DWC system, which is also known as a hydroponic system. These are very popular hydroponic systems that require very little substrate. However, on the other hand, it requires a lot of nutrient solution (water). In our store, this system is available in an option for 1 plant. The plant is placed in a basket filled with a bit of expanded clay (1L), and its roots are immersed in highly aerated nutrient solution. The Aeros system includes a submersible pump to ensure plenty of oxygen is delivered to the roots. This results in rapid growth. Bubbles are created by the aeration stone which keeps the nutrient solution constantly moving and rich in oxygen. It is important to monitor the EC and pH concentration in the solution for best results.
The system includes:
- tank with level indicator with a capacity of max. 15L, working capacity of 12L
- a lid with the Aeros logo and an opening for a basket with a diameter of 127mm. On the lid there is a small hole with a plug for the purpose of
adding fertilizer or checking EC and pH.
- hydroponics basket with a diameter of 127mm
- aeration hose with a length of 1m
- air pump from 50 to 100 L/h - should be above the water level.
