Producent zaleca stosowanie wężyków doprowadzających pożywkę o średnicy 6mm w systemach 1-7 donic. Powyżej 8-miu donic, zaleca się stosowanie wężyka o grubości 16mm. Im więcej donic w danym zestawie, tym zbiornik główny powinien być większy.
Zbiornik należy umieścić min 15cm ponad doniczkami, aby ciśnienie grawitacyjne skutecznie nawadniało system.
Zalecane podłoża to ziemia/kokos/wełna mineralna w stosunku 50%/50% z perlitem/keramzytem.
