MILWAUKEE Electronic Monitor for measuring pH in aqueous solution
-equipped additionally with a pump that automatically feeds the appropriate liquid into the tank, thus adjusting the desired pH value of the solution
-measuring range: 0.0-14.0 pH
-resolution: 0.1pH
-accuracy: 0.2 pH (at about 25 degrees C)
-monitor allows continuous measurement, the result constantly displayed on the screen (the electrode is immersed in the solution all the time)
-when thedesired pH level changes, an alarm is activated (blinking red diode) and a pump regulating the pH level is automatically activated
-power supply: 230V/12 (power supply included - the problem of changing batteries disappears)
-electrode (2m cable + BNC connector)
-included:
7.01 calibration fluid, bracket for hanging the monitor on the wall, screwdriver for calibration
-weight 160g (pH monitor alone)
-instructions in English.
For proper use and calibration you need calibration fluids: pH-4.01, pH-7.01 and for cleaning and storing electrodes
-guarantee for the device: 1 year
-electrode warranty: 6 months
-electrode service life: 1-2 years
-two-point with pH 4, pH 7 fluids + screwdriver (film)
1. set the desired pH level with the knob
2. the switch next to it has 2 setting options:
(a) ABOVE (above) - if the pH value measured through the electrode will be higher than the one set by us with the knob (desired) then the pump will start sucking liquid (lowering the pH level)
b) BELOW - if the pH value measured by the electrode is lower than that set by the knob (desired), the pump will start sucking in fluid (increasing the pH level)
3. depending on what we set, the pump will feed the pH adjusting fluid until the desired state (set on the knob) is reached
1. the measuring electrode/probe should be placed in a tank of water at a depth of about 2-3cm
2) The tube, by means of which the liquid lowering or increasing the pH will be pumped into the tank, should be placed at a small distance from the electrode/probe - about 2cm (to make the reaction of the device as fast as possible)
Both the electrode and the tube running from the pump with the pH regulator is recommended to place as far as possible from the water pump, which is equipped with hydroponic systems (otherwise it could suck the pH regulator directly into the roots of our charges, and we would not want that ;-) ) )
