WHY PK?
The need for a PK product during the flowering period is obvious. You are trying to change the NPK ratio in the nutrient solution to maximize its efficiency in fruit and flower production.

WHY 9/18
We conducted extensive field trials and scientific research to determine the ratio of phosphorus and potassium in our product. Generally speaking, most nutrient manufacturers have a 13/14 formula - our data from the trail indicated that this was far from optimal. Most nutrient solutions, especially flowering formulas, already contain relatively high levels of phosphate, and although this is an important part of flowering, you must avoid over-supply, as your plant will have difficulty utilizing and storing the excess, resulting in decreased fruit quality.

On the other hand, potassium is the element that drives sugar production in your fruit, and it's an element that your plants need in greater proportion than the PK product. After large-scale testing with a number of PK ratio products, we found that the 9/18 ratio provided optimal levels of potassium absorption without phosphorus overload. This also allows our PK product to be used longer during the flowering period without adverse effects, satisfying the need to increase potassium yields for as long as possible.

OPTIMIZING THE SOLUTION
A common mistake many growers make when adding nutrient products is that they continue to add nutrients at full strength along with boosters and additives. This can often lead to over-fertilization. In fact, before you add PK warrior to your nutrient solution, you should actually LOWER the nutrient strength by 20-50% for optimal plant performance. This may seem counterintuitive, but by the time your plants start producing fruits and flowers, your plant's overall nutrient requirements are actually lower, and your plant's transpiration rate is often higher than during leaf and stem growth. This higher rate of plant water loss will cause the plant to take up more nutrient solution to compensate for this - if nutrient levels are too high, over-fertilization will occur due to the increased rate of absorption.

DOING THE MATH
PK Warrior is highly concentrated and dilutes at as little as 1mL/L in the first week of use, then 0.5mL/L thereafter. Compare this to products from leading competitors, and you will quickly see that the cost per liter of diluted product at full strength makes PK Warrior much more economical to use than almost any competing product.
