Smart Bag CO2 is a natural, safe and economical way to supply carbon dioxide - Co2 - to plants. Other methods, such as generators or Co2 tanks, can be too expensive and time-consuming. Once the Smart Bag Co2 is suspended using the "zips" included in the kit, the hassle disappears.

Why use CO2?

The benefits of increased CO2 levels in growing rooms ( greenhouses ) are well known, namely earlier flowering, higher yields, increased stem strength and heavier fruits, flowers. Plants use a process called photosynthesis, which converts water, sunlight and carbon dioxide-CO2-into essential components to support their growth and overall nutrition. With more CO2 in the air, plants become more active and efficient in absorbing and consuming carbon dioxide. Faster conversion of CO2 to essential nutrients, results in faster and more vigorous plant growth. Plants also absorb carbon dioxide through small pores on the underside of their leaves, called stomata. When CO2 levels are high, plants do not need to open these pores as often or as widely, resulting in less water loss and less likelihood of absorbing harmful pollutants from the air.

How does Smart Bag CO2 work?

Smart Bag CO2 contains a mass of mycelium (fungus) and enough organic substrate to maintain production for at least 4 months. The mass of mycelium works in the opposite way to a normal plant, inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide - CO2, 24 hours a day through holes made on the bag. This creates a natural, self-sustaining, economical and odorless CO2 "generator". Smart Bag CO2 does not generate heat. Just hang the bag, leave it alone, and it works!

How to use Smart Bag CO2?

After purchasing the Smart Bag CO2, hang the bag in the growing area, just above the tops of the plants or halfway up the plants. One bag of CO2 is sufficient for a room up to 120 x 120 cm.
Since CO2 is heavier than oxygen, it will fall on the plants, giving them all the CO2 they need to live. Once suspended at the required height, no adjustments or refilling of the bag is necessary. After about 4 months, CO2 production will slowly decrease, at which point you simply replace the CO2 Smart Bag with a new one.
If you want to dispose of the used CO2 bag, simply pour the contents onto your compost or garden. The plastic packaging can be recycled.

Things you should know about Smart Bag CO2 bags.

Smart Bag CO2 will turn brown and turn whitish over time, don't worry, this is perfectly normal, it's the development of the mycelial mass.

Smart Bag CO2 works from the moment you pierce the green bag.
The bag should not be opened, until the product is consumed, otherwise you will contaminate the mycelial mass, and CO2 production will stop.
